 The aim of this site is to allow people to make use of old items. Instead of just throwing them away filling land fills and rubbish dumps, give them to someone who can make use of them. By making this a classified ad based system it is possible to make it clear what you're giving away and easier for would be recipients to decide if the item will be of use to them.

Freeuseit is a free recycling website where everything is free. Unlike freecycle, you won't get bombarded with e-mails, it's easy to search, everything is categorised and your ads aren't moderated (within reason) as soon as you place the ad it's there. The scope of freeuseit is nation wide, not one small geographical area.
Maybe you can make use of something, everything on the site is free, have a browse you never know you may find something you were after for free.
As the idea is to give away something for free, there is no charge to advertise or to join.
